PROJECT MANAGER
Office Location: Crystal City, VA

RAM-Technologies, LLC is currently seeking qualified Project Managers with experience handling medium-to-large scale, technology-based projects. 

Responsibilities will include: Planning, evaluating, tracking, analyzing and coordinating multiple complex projects. Candidates must have the ability to apply analytical problem solving methodologies to resolve project related issues, and interface with Government and/or commercial contractor personnel.  Qualified candidates will possess:

  1. Familiarity with project management principles and hands-on project management skills.
  2. General knowledge of the government acquisition and budget process.
  3. General knowledge of performance metrics.
  4. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  5. Proficient in using MS Office suite, MS Project, and MS Visio.
  6. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

Experience:  Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience with at least 3 years of direct experience managing complex projects and 3 years experience utilizing tools and skills for project schedule development and tracking.

Education:  Bachelors Degree. PMP, PMI desirable.

Must have the ability to pass Government background check and obtain a Secret level clearance.


TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER
Office Location: Crystal City, VA

RAM-Technologies, LLC is currently seeking qualified Technical Project Managers with experience in the contract/program management of equipment programs and the development of acquisition and contract documentation (CDRLs, DIDs, SOWs etc.). Candidates should have experience in the development and maintenance of project related technical documents. 

Responsibilities will include: Developing and monitoring scope, cost, and schedule for various complex projects.  You will exhibit exceptional written and oral communication skills, and possess the ability to coordinate various levels of management and support personnel in the completion of day to day tasks.  Qualified candidates will possess:

  1. Experience in systems engineering principles and approach to technical project management.
  2. Experience in project management with program management/contract support.
  3. Proven experience in client relation and ability to coordinate work with the upper levels of Federal Government management staff.
  4. Familiarity with airport security screening equipment.
  5. General knowledge of the government contracting/procurement process, and experience in developing procurement documents.
  6. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  7. Proficiency in using MS Office suite, MS Project, and MS Visio.

Experience:  Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience with at least 3-5 years of direct experience managing complex technical projects.

Education:  B.S. in engineering, M.S. preferred. PMP, PMI highly desirable.

Must have the ability to pass Government background check and obtain a Secret level clearance.


SCHEDULER
Office Location: Crystal City, VA

RAM-Technologies, LLC is currently seeking a qualified Project Scheduler to provide support for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Transportation Security Administration.  The successful candidate will provide planning and implementation support to existing security equipment programs, as well as scheduling support services to emerging technologies programs within the TSA

Responsibilities will include: Experience in the development and maintenance of complex project/program schedules using MS Project.  Able to develop integrated schedules with multiple baselines, resource loading, and earned value analysis.  Ability to coordinate various levels of management, stakeholders, and support personnel to develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date program schedules.  Additionally the qualified candidate will possess:

  1. Exceptional skills in the use of MS Project.
  2. Proficiency in using MS Office suite.
  3. Proven knowledge and experience in all aspects of scheduling, including resource loading and earned value management.
  4. General knowledge of the government acquisition and budget process.
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

Experience:  3-5 years in the development and maintenance of complex MS Project schedules.

Education:  Bachelors Degree from an accredited college.

Must have the ability to pass Government background check and obtain a Secret level clearance.


SYSTEMS ENGINEERS
Office Location: Arlington, VA

RAM-Technology is currently seeking experienced Engineers to support various projects for the Transportation Security Administration. Must have experience in one or more of the following disciplines:

  1. Electrical System Design
  2. Mechanical Engineering Return/Rework Materials
  3. Testing (DT&E, OT&E, PAT&E)
  4. Human Factors (Ph.D., Experimental Psychology)

Candidates will perform system engineering activities including system analysis, requirements definition/allocation, and system verification. Will apply scientific and engineering principles to identify potential security vulnerabilities and minimize or contain risks associated with those vulnerabilities. Will use scientific disciplines and engineering methods to specify, predict and evaluate security threats. Must be able to perform technical analysis and quickly resolve program critical-path issues. Will interface with other program elements to ensure security functions are effectively integrated into the total system engineering effort. Positions require interface with other product teams, management and customer representatives. Some travel may be required.

Specific Requirements
These positions require past Engineering experience, preferably in a Government-related setting. Must be able to consistently recognize a wide range of complex, specialized issues, problems, or opportunities in own work group, across the organization and with external customers; determining whether actions are needed. Regularly integrate complex information from a wide variety of sources; detect complex trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships. Consistently create relevant options for addressing problems/opportunities and achieving desired outcomes. Formulate clear decision criteria; evaluate options by considering implications and consequences; choose an effective option.

Candidates should possess, at a minimum:

  • 5 years of relevant past experience.
  • Proven experience in client relations and ability to coordinate work with the upper levels of Federal Government management staff.
  • Familiarity with airport security screening equipment.
  • General knowledge of the government contracting/procurement process.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Education: BS in Engineering, MS/PhD. preferred.

US citizenship required; must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Secret clearance.
