FST inspects the work of mechanical installation contractors
throughout the prefabrication and installation process
to assure that customer's internal quality requirements
are being met and are in compliance with site-specific
specifications and build clean installation procedures.
Installed systems are then validated for safety and cleanliness
by testing system integrity.
FST is also integral in
helping customers satisfy the requirements of external
federal, state and local regulatory agencies (EPA, OSHA, Fire Marshall,
city inspectors, etc.) and assuring applicable codes and standards are being
followed (ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, UPC).
QA covers both materials and joining techniques from the component supplier
level through field installation and includes qualification of welders and
ongoing
training of both contractor and owner personnel in QA/QC methodologies and
